Any useful "helper" apps on Android?

Not wanting to risk alt-tabbing to run helper programs like 4 bearing calculators, hydrophone trackers, intercept course plotters etc, does anyone know of any useful such apps available for Android, such that you could run them on a tablet while playing the game? I could just use my laptop but a tablet would be more convenient.
