Radar not detecting anything

I'm running the latest TWOS, 100% realism and it seems like the radar cannot detect any aircraft. Doesn't matter if I set it at medium or short distance. It's continuously scanning for enemies and nothing shows on the radar screen! Then the watch crew spots an airplane and I get bombed before I have time to submerge...
What am I doing wrong?

Hi...i am a new user here. I have little bit experience with the Radar. The problem might be you are facing is may be because of signal generator. Please check the connection and supply of your signal generator. Also you can go for its reset.
