Quick question on saving Patrol games.
 

Hey all, Dunno where but I read somewhere that saving your game when in an active patrol is a bad thing for the campaign itself ? That you need to let the game run for as long as you are in the patrol area before you get a new area assigned by Bdu ?

Any light on that ?

If you are referring to the patrol grid objective 24 and 48 hours then you cannot make a game save once entering the area until the time is completed.
You will receive a radio message or can see it in the Captain's Log telling you the start time.
When completed you can see it on the left side of the Captain's Log in green.

You can save game if you like , but you shouldn't reloading the game or exiting to main menu...

Ah okay thank you for that info.

I got the Code message in the captains log but not on the radio so I could translate but not transport it back to the messages book. Thought something was wrong so saved the game and exited.

Guess I will have to start the 24 hrs mission again.

Exit the designated zone and save/reload the game. Next time when you enter your designated patrol area , patrol timer will be restarted...:yep:

Yes, it happens sometimes...Not really sure why...
