Force 4:3 when win 10 stretches DW?
I'm using the latest GeForce drivers, but no matter what setting i change in them, DW always loads up stretched to widescreen.
Any help, please? |
I run it in a window, which makes it easier for my recording purposes. But, it also has the nice side effect of no stretching. At one point, I had it so it wasn't stretched with full screen. I may try and figure it out.

Thanks Schazlly (still inhaling your videos within hours of you uploading! You're so awesome!).
The problem is I'm running in Win 10 and I can't run it in a window because of the 16bit colour problem, even though I've tried compatibility settings it still won't launch. I was thinking of running it in a virtual box for XP but I can't find a legal copy of XP SP3 / Black that I can use. PS: Regarding your videos - are you taking requests for missions to do, and will you ever do a tutorial / gameplay on a mission where you have to do intel gathering as I always get spotted on those, even at night. |
Either your monitor is able to disable stretching, or you can enforce it with your video cards driver. I just did that a couple of days ago.
If you have an Nvidia, fire up the control panel, go to adjust desktop size and position and there select no scaling. I had to set it on GPU to make it work, by the way. DW looks much better on a lower resolution. While 1024x looks small (well it is), at least the text and sonar is crisp and clear, very nice. |

Nippelspanner's advice should work. |
