Force 4:3 when win 10 stretches DW?

I'm using the latest GeForce drivers, but no matter what setting i change in them, DW always loads up stretched to widescreen.

Any help, please?

I run it in a window, which makes it easier for my recording purposes. But, it also has the nice side effect of no stretching. At one point, I had it so it wasn't stretched with full screen. I may try and figure it out.

Thanks Schazlly (still inhaling your videos within hours of you uploading! You're so awesome!).

The problem is I'm running in Win 10 and I can't run it in a window because of the 16bit colour problem, even though I've tried compatibility settings it still won't launch.

I was thinking of running it in a virtual box for XP but I can't find a legal copy of XP SP3 / Black that I can use.

PS: Regarding your videos - are you taking requests for missions to do, and will you ever do a tutorial / gameplay on a mission where you have to do intel gathering as I always get spotted on those, even at night.

Either your monitor is able to disable stretching, or you can enforce it with your video cards driver. I just did that a couple of days ago.
If you have an Nvidia, fire up the control panel, go to adjust desktop size and position and there select no scaling.
I had to set it on GPU to make it work, by the way.

DW looks much better on a lower resolution.
While 1024x looks small (well it is), at least the text and sonar is crisp and clear, very nice.

My apologies, I forgot to reply to your message! One piece of advice I will give for intel gathering missions is to stay away from periscope depth. So far, I have only anecdotes to prove it, but it seems there *may* be a bug in RA where if you're at periscope depth, even with no masts raised, you will get mast counter-detected.

Nippelspanner's advice should work.

Just did this myself and it works. If you want the proper aspect ratio and also want the game to take up as much of the display as possible, select the Aspect Ratio option for nVidia.
