Hsie patch Oxygen-Supply

Hi shipmates,

A question regarding h.sie magnificent hardcode fixes.

I am using the optional CO2 dials, (patch is successful, shows correctly in status bar on load) however they don't seem to be animated?.... i.e the needles never move :hmmm: h.sie patch is enabled thru JSGME last on list, but I'm wondering if it's because I am using Aneneherbe w/s mod. Any clues chaps or is this the way it is re dials?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Fuber
The default gauge is CO2 and not optional.
The optional gauge is O2.
Did you add the optional O2 gauge mod?
This replaces the CO2 gauge.
The HSIE oxygen patch only operates when the O2 drops to 17% from 21%.
See my signature for the download if you do not have it.

Hi Berbster, thanks for the imput, however the question stands;

a) yes I know this
b) yes I know this, (typo on my part :/\\!!)
c) yes, O2 gauge mod is implemeted and working.
d) yep, again I know this
e) Indeed, FWIW, I am getting msgs to confirm such, but the dial needles are not animated as in stock.

Again the question stands, should the needles give me any indication as to my air?

Thanks for your patience and input chaps.

Best regards.

Using a GWX install launched thru SH3C

If you expect the O2 dial to work for renewable oxygen, this will not happen.

Go underwater, use time compression, when you receive a report: "Oxygen too low. Using oxygen supply.", now the boat will start to use the bottled O2 supply, and the dial should start to move, a very slowly, use time compression to see. The direction is always from full to empty and never back, it is non renewable.

If it don't work like that, then you have something wrong in the installation.

Hi Fuber
Tycho explains it well.
When you get down to 17% of oxygen left in the boat the crew will start to use bottled O2.
This will show on the O2 gauge how much has been used.

In the picture none has been used so it is showing 100%.

Thank you both for your input chaps. You have both erased any fears of a bad install :salute:

Best regards.
