Help with triggers
Hello everyone!
I'm trying to make a mission and to add immersion I want to have some biologics interacting. I have 4 schools of shrimp moving along nicely and I also have a whale approaching the shrimps. My question is this: How would I trigger 2 of the shrimps to despawn (get eaten) when the whale passes close to them? Can this be done? Alternatively I would settle for a timer to despawn the shrimp after carefully coordinating the whales movements. If someone could provide some examples on how this could be done it would be greatly appreciated, as the manual does not seem to explain in detail how the triggers and scripts are supposed to work. My current solution uses a script to remove the shrimp when the whale reaches a checkpoint among the shrimp but I would like a more elegant solution which could allow the whale to move more dynamically. Thank you in advance. |
why do you not just create a trigger with doctrine 'range' ? You could then trigger a script which kills the biological units...

I couldn't figure out how to use the range option and how to do it with environmental objects

You have to use trigger destination attached to shrimps with "remove attached platform"
