[WIP\REQ] Need help with a new UNIT (Belfast subclass cruiser)
Hi everyone!
I'm working on a new cruiser for SH3, a conversion from SHIV: JapLance's HMS Belfast. Last week i've converted hull and parts, and inserted into a cloned Fiji's .dat. I've reworked also nodes coordinates for guns (i need to add some, but i've used only Fiji's guns at moment). Here's a pic: https://s32.postimg.org/yqr3umann/belfast.jpg As you can see, she stay unarmed! Why? With original *.eqp file, in museum and in test missions i've CTD! With a white *.eqp file (without all!), unit work unarmed. :/\\!!:/\\!!:/\\!!:/\\!!:/\\!! Can someone help me please? Guru modders, this is a call for you ^_^ |
Send me a link to the files.
:) |
PM sent, thanks

Check the start dates. They should be a day later then end dates.
[Equipment 9] NodeName=A01 LinkName=2pdrSingle StartDate=19380101 EndDate=19410101 [Equipment 10] NodeName=A01 LinkName=20mmGBDouble StartDate=19410101 <------ should be 19410102 EndDate=19451231 |
Hi and thanks!
Tested; sadly, CTD is again here. :/\\!! More details relate: AppName: sh3.exe AppVer:1.4.0.1 ModName: ntdll.dll ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180 Offset: 0003426d When i exit from the error, a popup say: "L'istruzione a "0x7c92103c" ha fatto riferimento alla memoria a "0x000a0142". La memoria non poteva essere "written". Fare click su ok per terminare l'applicazione" Translating from italian, i think this mean "instruction to "0x7c92103c" refer to memory to 0x000a0142. Memory can't be "written". Click OK for stop application." :stare::o:dead:  Ah, *eqp file was original from parent uni (CL Fiji), so Fiji has same dates. It's a problem if they're the same in end and start? :salute: |
In the .cfg file is there anything like this?
[AirGroup 1] StartDate=19350601 EndDate=19400930 Squadron1Class=LBSWalrus Squadron1No=1 [AirGroup 2] StartDate=19411101 EndDate=19421231 Squadron2Class=LBSWalrus Squadron2No=1 Just checking to make sure that you Delete these type of AirGroup References. I had Them included with RN Cruisers by The_Frog and could never get these great ships to work until I accidently found these References and tried The ships without them. No CTDs after that. |
Rename all M0 nodes to S0
They work perfectly. This is a problem with cloned Units I ran into a long time ago. Never could find the reason. http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n.../Belfast-1.jpg http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n.../Belfast-2.jpg |
@mikey117us no AirGroup included, but thanks! :D
@Jeff-Groves BINGO! ok, this is EXTREMELY weird, but it work (and well!) I would have lost entire weeks in this, without find this solution! Thank you very much mate! :Kaleun_Cheers::Kaleun_Cheers: https://s32.postimg.org/41mu2vin7/belfast.jpg :yeah::yeah: |
