Uplay & German voices
 

So, in order to get German voices with English texts, you're apparently supposed to pick a 'customized install' option. Thing is, I can't really find anything even resembling that when installing through Uplay :hmm2: I haven't heard of anyone else having problems with the customized install option, so I'm starting to feel I'm missing something very obvious. Is the custom install option even a thing with Uplay or does it only apply on physical copies?

The version I'm running is 'Gold Edition', if that has any relevance here.

The custom installation is an option on the dvd where you can German voices with English text.

a fresh reinstall is always good :D

When re-installing you have the option to keep your saved games.

I FOUND THE ANSWER

The german voice files are in

data/LngGameData/voices/german

Open the german folder and you'll see a data folder, all you need to do is copy this folder and overwrite the main "data" of the game. All voices and movies will be replaced in German.
