Do I Need To Follow Missions?
Do I need to follow the missions that the game gives me?
I was wondering this because I seem to be at the mercy of the game given patrol areas that I already know will have very little or lack shipping. If I don't follow the missions, do I get a harsh penalty? Mods in Use: TMO v2.5 RSRD_TMO_V502 RSRD_V5xx_Patch 1 TMO_Metric_Speed_Chart_Nomo TMO Aft Deckguns TMO engine sounds Pacific Sound Mod |
Ähmm ... You are an officer in the Navy and is therefore subject to certain rules command receiver.
How do you say that, just to make what you like?!? Warning ... you go to your commands!!! :D |
You have your orders commander.

Obviously, as a highly trained naval officer, you are expected to use your judgement in following orders. If you feel that you may have better success in locating enemy shipping in other areas, you can use your initiative to locate the enemy for disposal.
I happen to know of one harbor on the southern side of Oahu that is just full of ships. There's another one about midway across the ocean, too. Great hunting spots, and they'll never expect you. |
Complete your Objective(s) .... then you are free to sink shipping up the Niger river to Timbuktu, or anywhere else if you wish.
Happy Hunting! |
Ok, I will follow orders when needed.
However, if i'm just circling around the patrol area for a couple of weeks with out contacts... :o |

the objectives cannot be ignored, but the orders can be ignored, so complete the objectives or you cannot progress in your campaign and will have to repeat the missions again and again. keep an eye on completing the objectives, then go where you want after that |
