I've just tried to donate via by debit card which I have used in the past to donate. Now I'm told it has to be a Direct debit through my bank. Which I have paid £6.20. But why a direct debit? those are for regular payments, and you ask for a donation so I'm confused.
Is the intention to take regular payments? if so when?

When then, can I download mods having paid £6.20 today?

I find that using Pay Pal works best for me. i put funds into my Pay Pal account, I don't pay anything extra. Good luck and good hunting!

This is through PayPal. I also have used them for years.

When I made my donation about a month ago Neal thanked me and informed me that 6 months from then, I would receive a reminder that the 6 month donation time period was expiring and could choose again at that time to donate again or not.

Yeah I used Paypal about a month ago. It worked correctly. Maybe Neal has a clue...

Made a donation in march with Paypal. Worked perfectly, I was immediately registered as subscriber and had access to the goodies and the download privileges. Not sure if it was automated or if there was an admin/moderator on who did it straight away.

I saw your other thread, once you see a subscriber icon under avatar and received a private message from Neal, you're good to go.
