Funny Foods: what do you eat?

I like nuts and cheese, but every now and then I like to eat toast with... tomatoes.

I found out by accident one day that if you eat a small ripe plum tomato with a bite of buttered toast, it tastes very creamy and delicious.

Are there any unusual foods or food combinations you enjoy?

I like to saute squirrel in a bed of onions and cherry tomatoes; I don't eat it, but, somehow, the act is rather cathartic... :haha:

But this lass might enjoy the dish...

I guess my worst is Sauer Kraut with ketchup on it and I love carrots with peanut butter on them.

Actually, you can get both Jam and Jelly in the U.S. The only real difference is the jam has a smoother consistency relative to the jelly which makes it easier to spread.

If jam on cheese tastes good, then no problem. It works for cheese cake with a fruit ( jam ) center after all.

Don't forget that some put mustard on their cheese.

Do you also get a side order of Rolaids, Tums or Pepto Bizmo for heartburn to go with the sandwich ? :O:

LOL, it was worst but substitute what you like . :D

Platapus 04-27-16 05:42 PM

Peanut butter and mustard sandwich. Don't knock it until you try it. :D

The right type of peanut butter gives a nice salty taste and a micron thin layer of the right mustard, complements it with just a little tang.

Good eatin'
