Of course I have WW2 songs in my gramophone! What else would be there?

I am guilty of having the Das Boot theme in there (1981).

And Crimson Tide theme (1995).

Anyone else out there?

Ha ha Aktungbby! I am sure there are a few guys out there that do. Sometimes while enroute to my patrol grid, I am listening to the static of old vinyl on the gramaphone, and the all of a sudden the new music pops on. Just doesnt fit the environement, but I love the song! Can't shake the guilt off!

I released 11 (eleven) volumes of musical tracks years ago and the two you mention are definitely contained within.

I only listen to period music, but we've had people in the past who listen to heavy metal while they play.

We probably have one of everything here. :sunny:

I did get a laugh reading one real kaleun's bio on Uboat.net, wish I could remember his name. Anyway, apparently he loved to play his personal collection of classical music endlessly through the boat while on patrol. It drove his young crew, who probably preferred Swing or Jazz, nuts.

I tend to stick with period music/war movie soundtracks myself.:yeah:

Being guilty only popped my mind when making destruction by sinking ships.

Pink Floyd's entire collection is on my gramophone :rock:Gets a little scary when echoes is playing while destroyers are present!

I even installed a few Ted Talk podcasts on my boat. Keeps you mind engaged during the boring bits. :O:

I like to hear some Red Army Choir music in my U-Boot. And no, i don't feel guilty of that ! :O: :rotfl2:

Look at it this way, the Kaleun would put on the newest hits from his record collection. So we can do the same :arrgh!:

The first thing I do when I sight a ship is to tell the radioman to turn that thing off! I won't have the distraction and the noise while I'm trying to concentrate on killing and not being killed.

But that's just me. :sunny:

That's how I am Steve! I will listen to music the whole way. As soon as a ship appears we are ready for business.

I too have those installed on mine. I can think of worse music one could have ;)
