The First Tour of the USS Zumwalt Reveals a Stealth Ship That's Right on Track
 

The USS Zumwalt Is In The news again.

Time will tell how well these ships do, however, with a the cost of the 3 ships totaling 23 billion dollars, it seems cost prohibitive to produce them in numbers that would make a difference.

Then again, if one were lost in battle, that's a loss of 8 Billion and change. I think that would make it cost prohibitive to use and lose as well.

On the other hand, the lead ship is slated to be commanded by Capt. James Kirk so it may well be invincible.:D

I wonder what happens if the Zumvalt ever meets a japanese ship named "Kobayashi maru" :)

Or somebody named Khan. :D
