Another WoS mod related question
 

So I found out about the OptionsFileEditorViewer by TheDarkWraith burind in the MODS folder and tried using it to change some values like the periscope automatically lowering when you exit and the super annoying "bug?" when some of the officer options grey out because it says the ships under water when its not. I tried changing the deck awash value to 8.5 then tried it False but it dose not seem to affect anything. I tried running SH5 in Admin but no difference. Am I missing something the "under water" bug is really irritating when I try to turn on say the Radar.

disable and enable again the mods from JGSME after using tdw's option file viewer

... and make sure you follow the post's instructions to the letter. I tried saving the options out as a different named file and that did not work.

Yup that did it!! thank you Sjizzle. I will keep that in mind seige00, I'm pretty sure I did everything exactly but there's allot to remember about saves/loads. Still way better then vanilla SH5. Thank you guys for the help. BTW I'm still getting the sub is under water in bad weather, is that to simulate the crew no being able to man the deck gun in rough seas? if it is I still can\t use the radar because it resets when it says its under water
