New to all this
 

I am new to all this. Have been reading about Silent Hunter and would like to install the game and begin playing. Have seen some play on Youtube and enjoyed watching those sims.I have Window 7 and read that would need to install Silent Hunter 5, but it had some issues with orginial version, but a newer version is now available. Where would you get the newer version? If anyone can help me with where to get the game and how to make upgrades if needed, this would be greatly appreciated.

Silent Hunter 5
 

I have Windows 7 and saw a version of Silent Hunter 5 for Windows 7. Is this the newer version of the game? Or will I have to download patches and updates for the game. Also saw where it said had to be connect to the Internet on a version of Silent Hunter 5? One said that could get the game on Steam, would this be a good choice and is it a newer version of the Game.
