I'll not comment on the details of his death but I was a big fan of ELP during my teens.

I saw them at the old Winterland with Mahavishnu Orchestra Blues Project 3/24/'72; I still got their album https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...px-ELP-ELP.jpg (now if I only had a decent turnatable):O:

I saw ELP in concert at Soldiers Field in Chicago back in '77. It was awesome. Elp is still one of my alltime favorite groups, I have all of the CDs.
I heard a DJ on the rock station I listen to here in Chicago describe Keith Emerson as the Jimi Hendricks of the keyboard while I was driving home from work yesterday. :up:
