Game wont start
 

Hi everyone, so I'm trying to run this game on windows 10 but the problem is, it wants me to install .NETFRAME 3.5 which windows 10 prompts me to install. If I were to install this, it will cause DCS world games to lag. what can I do to start it without .NETFRAME 3.5

That's very strange. From a coding standpoint, writing code against a specific framework shouldn't preclude you from installing different frameworks. Ie. I write a program against .net 4.x, and you have other programs running against 3.x, my program shouldn't care whether 3.x is installed.

Are you certain that the 3.5 problem is actually caused by the framework and not some other issue? I'm running SH5, had it installed before installing DCS on this system, and I have no problems with either app.

You can always try running SH in a virtual machine via VMware Workstation, VirtualBox, or something else. Or try dual booting your system if you've got the drive space and gumption to get that all working.
