I'll repost this question in its own thread, hopefully someone will help.:06:

I'm trying to change the "Nearest visual contact" message to display in yards instead of feet. The Menu.txt entry is 4616=Nearest visual contact at bearing %03.0f, range %.0f %s! What do the last string of characters mean? and what should I change it to read in yards? Or is that where it could be changed?

Yah, I thought it might be that much trouble. But...
"One other option. You may be able to insert the "Long, Medium or Short Range" text into the string by using the variable %s. While this won't give range in yards, it's better than the precise range, and it's better than no range at all. If it works."
