Set for release later this year, the CAT S60 will be priced at $599 USD.

I don't need it; but I really want one for some reason...

Wait a few months and purchase a cheaper competitor or the same phone at a reduced price...perhaps.

I bought a "state of the art" thermal camera (VGA resolution) in 2006 - for 14 500 Euros.
It looks like an oversized hairdryer and weights 1.2 kg.

10 years later and I can have that technology plus phone and computer in a pocket format for 600 greenbacks.

Funny, I never was interested in D-pics but have a 'collection' of thermal V-pics.

The thermal imaging is for being on the hunt in darkened bars and clubs. Everyone knows you meet a better class of people in the dark. :O:

Thermal camera in the pocket of a first responder is an excellent idea. Fire fighters already use thermal imaging for searching rooms with no visibilty, but I know from personal experience this would greatly help search accident scenes for additional victims we weren't aware of. Also law enforcement for searching for people hiding in the dark.

Reminds me of a joke. A man in the bar would order a drink and finish it. He then pulled out a picture, put it back in his pocket and ordered another drink. Another guy asked the bartender what that was all about and the bartender replied the 1st guy was a regular. He drank and looked at the picture of his wife and when she started to look good, he knew he had enough and he could go home.

Thanks for the great video.
