Silent Hunter 3 Commander edit/chage commander Profile

Hello fellow subsimers, today I have a tricky thing I can't seem to solve, I tried to edit my Commander profile (DOB,PLACE OF BIRTH, ETC) but everytime I try to edit it it always locks back to what it had before, if anyone knows how to do this I'd be very appreciated of them.

Hi,

You need to go to the main SH3Commander folder and open SH3Cmdr.ini. Look down at the bottom and it will have all your careers listed along with DoB, Birthplace, Age at intake, date of intake and then promotion dates. I tried changing this and reopening Commander and the changes stuck.

I now come from the Moon.
