Project L.E.G.O.

I am planning a new project, name L.E.G.O. Obviously, it will involve LEGO :D
I won't reveal any spoilers here, but I would be building the scene from The Force Awakens where Rey and Finn run toward the Millennium Falcon while the First Order TIE fighters rain fire down on them. How does that appeal to the starwars-loving-Lego-building community?

Betonov 12-26-15 04:51 PM

That is going to be expensive.

Good luck

Not too bad, around $300 total. $100 for the Falcon, $20-30 for the base plates, sand from my backyard for realism :D and $60-70 for the TIE fighter and characters. But I just realized that I don't really have room for this, so I'll just stick with models for now :D

Yes we like LEGO (except for when we stand on it in our socks). I missed a TV show all about Lego last evening because of a misbehaving son :/\\!!

What a shame. Remember what the title was?

333 posts. Proud of it.

Waste of a good thread title if the mods delete it. Let's just turn it into a LEGO thread.

I'll start, here's my figure collection. Most are from the LEGO sets I had as a child

And Indy

I'll buy more of them now that I know that a ''mini figures'' that are being sold on e-bay are actually the same size as a regular figure.

Those Lego minifigures, they're extremely old, you can probably get $100-200 each.

I've got another project in mind, two actually. Both involve Star Wars.
1. Recreate the opening scene from (A New Hope, maybe?) where the Tantive IV is escaping the Star Destroyer and gets boarded
2. Scene from The Force Awakens where Rey and Finn board the Falcon. Pretty much the same as the original.
Any idea of which model of Millennium Falcon I should use? (2011, 2015, etc)

This guy does impressive stuff with Lego:

You might have some heavy modification work ahead of you, though. LEGO has only released the Special Forces TIE Fighter (TIE/SF), while the TIEs in that scene were regular First Order TIEs (TIE/FO). Either way, I look forward to it

I'm (probably, could change) not planning that project. Like I've said in my recent post, I'm still thinking of ideas. If you got one that's not too expensive, tell me.

Are you telling me that the collective worth of figures on that small plate is over 5000$ plus all the figures that are still in the attic that I havent put back together ????

Well, if you can tell me what time they are from (1980,1990, etc) then I can tell you the approximate price of an individual figure. Multiply that by how many figures you have and you got yourself the price.

Those are all figures that came with sets (like Cape Canaveral, tropical catamaran, port with cargo ship, commuter train set...) from the nineties. My LEGO phase was somehwere between 1994 and 2000.

I doubt they're worth much, they're all basic serial figures, not special edition minifigures.
