Installing NYGM after have been playing GWX
 

Hello sailors !

I have an Sh3 installation with GWX Gold , the 4 mb patch and the code injection mod , now i would like to install NYGM 3.6 .

can i install ( and activate it via jsgme) it after deactivation of any GWX mod via jsgme or do i really have to uninstall and reinstall entire Sh3 ?

The JSGME way worked for me.

Hi ACR,

you can't install NYGM over GWX 3.0 Gold. GWX 3.0 Gold comes with an installer so you can't deactivate the core installation of GWX with JSGME. The best way is to set up a secound SH3 installation (other name of the folder), put all needed NYGM files and mods in the MODS folder and activate them with JSGME. So you will get a clean, stable NYGM installation.

one question - hopefully not a dumb one . can i make a second clean installation from DVD without removing my GWX installation or do i have to uninstall my current sh3 +gwx in any case ?

i read s3f - but when i understand it correctly it can make a copy of my curent setup - and this setup is not "clean" anymore with gwx 3.0
