Automatic Dive When Spotting Aircraft
 

Hi!
New to this, and enjoying SHIII immensely!
Have a problem! When running on the surface in air-defense mode my boat automatically dives to periscope depth! I want to stay on the surface and fight it out with the planes. Can this automatic command to dive be changed to stay on the surface?

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask this; sorry if it isn't.

While in game press the 'Escape' key, just as if you were quitting the game. The first item on the list is 'Options'. Selecting that will give you the choice to 'Reset Default Actions'. The next time you spot an enemy ship or plane it will ask you to set an Action, just like it did the first time. You can then select 'Take No Action' and it will no longer do anything upon spotting.
