Gabrele Ferzetti has passed away
at the ripe old age of 90.
who you may ask? Ferzetti had a long career in Italian cinema, but is best known in the west for key roles in classic 60's movies Count Draco in "On her majesty's secret service" (not the best Bond flick, but one of my personal favorites): https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/i...spF1DPtnN1v-40 https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/i...uUgDvNOQrVL9BA and the Railway Baron Morton from "Once Upon a time in the West" (my all time personal fav Spaghetti western) http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d5..._ds/west07.jpg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_B2fFxYRXPY R.I.P. :salute: |
Fascinating. Sad, but good to know, and he had a good long life.

I had no clue what had happened to him since that time. Thanks for the update. |
He enjoyed a long and successful career, I remember him playing Field Marshal Wilhelm Keitel in the movie Hitler: The Last Ten Days amongst others.
RIP Gabriele |
I saw him in "I am Love", a 2009 Italian movie starring Tilda Swinton. He only had a few scenes and a few lines, but there he was still going strong at 84, older, but with the same intensity.

I watched part of "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" last night (in honour of mr. Ferzetti's passing). Diana Rigg was so hot in that movie. :arrgh!: |
Diana Rigg was pretty much hot in any part she played...
<O> |
Dianna Rigg was hot pe****.

"On Her Majesty's Secret Service" was one of my all time favorite Bond movies. Too bad tho that Diana Rigg took one to the noggin. She was hot in that movie, and especially so as Emma Peel. I too had a crush on her.
RIP Mr. Ferzetti. You did good. :salute: |
