Der BDU braucht dringend eine modbare Nachfolger Simulation: Wenn nicht von Ubisoft dann eben von einem anderen Hersteller. Über die Jahrzehnte gab es doch immer wieder was. Ist wirklich überhaupt nichts in Planung von keiner Software Schmiede?

Proof UBI will never finish any Silent Hunter is the fact the UBI's Silent Hunter Forums for SH3, 4, or 5 no longer exist; and there's not been another game patch issued for a long long time. At least as far as I've seen.... the SH series are no longer listed on UBI's website.

With all the mods and super mods made for SH 3, 4, and 5; I'd say an engine to run a simulation is all that's needed. Plus the SH mods already made would need to be able to run on this new gaming engine. Then you could see a new finished U-Boat simulation. But only as long as there's enough $s to pay a crew to make another U-Boat sim. Silent Hunter could not be used for a name, nor any name already copy written or trademarked . But anything not used in referring to the U-Boats could. A lot of work all over again and you'd need the interest in U-Boats that was created with the Silent Hunter series to keep on going. Which I've sure it would. Will it happen? I doubt it due to the costs involved.
