trevally scripts ctd problem
 

hi folks.

i have wolves of steel megamod installed correctly. no problems so far, but i have ctds only when i use trevaillys solution finder. first time its ok, second time its a direct ctd.

i know trevailly scripts are done far time ago, but its any solution i can find to use it, solution finder its a must have.

months ago sent 2 messages to creator, and NEVER answer. so please anyone can find a solution to use that script ?? thx in advance

That script isn't included in the megamod, right?

Can you make sure that you have selected a ship "space bar" in visual range.

When it ctds - does if freeze? - if so tab to desk top and see if there is a message box. Pressing space bar can advance the message and unfreeze the game.

When it crashes with the second use - is this the second solution or the second running of the script?

ok friends frist of all, no isnt included on your superb mod, i include it after installation of your mod. but isnt mod related problem because with other mods like sobers, i have the same issue.

it happens when i use second time Solution finder, no freezes, instant ctd, i read in one thread that the problem is your scripts arent updated to last ui mods.

trevally please need your help.

From first use to second use - do you leave the script window open?
Are you selecting a target (space bar - little yellow marker under ship) before getting a solution?

No - it is up to date, otherwise the script will not load in TDWs Ui

i use spacebar to lock targets yes, and yep i have it on (the little window of the solution finder tutorial)

I do not have SH5 installed so I can't test

I checked over the solution finder script and can see no errors
Does Range AOB helper work on
What about TDC checker?

I have uploaded a new version (2.1) where I removed the loop for solution finder.
Please test
You will need to restart the script for each solution - if ctd continurs, something else is wrong
