Deck watch crew at deck awash

Is it possible to have the deck watch crew operating properly at deck awash depth? I mean currently the command detect visual target does not work when at deck awash.

No...UI command "nearest visual contact" will not work in this case, although your crew will still report new contacts. They can be rather sloppy so keep your eyes open Captain...:)
