I've got a ship 4 degrees off my bow @ 4000m and the radar screen shows nothing.

Did these ever work in SH3? I just started playing again after years of being away, but honestly i don't recall ever getting them to work as intended.

Ok, after playing with it some more i figured it out.

You actually have to turn the radar man's wheel. wtf. I thought the Fumo29 was mounted fixed to the front of the tower with a +-10 degree field of view, and that you had to turn the U-Boat to sweep.
