Just for fun deck gun sounds
 

Just finished a mod for Neal and someone who made a request to him for a nice sharp crack type deck gun sound. Used a real recording of a real 5-25 deck gun on a real freakin' WWII fleet boat. Awesome.

But you know, we're playing a cartoon video game. And we're not playing to have the realistic experience of operating the head wrong and all the stuff we just put in there get exploded all over us and the head when we open the wrong valve. We play this game to GET AWAY from reality. Let's have som FUN with the deck gun!

So here's the Boom Dammit Deck Gun Sound and Boom Boom Out Go the Lights Deck Gun Sound mods. Nothing can fix your day like a little blues from the Pat Travers Band.

You can add these mods at any time, don't have to be in port. They are Certified Universal Plugin Mods that won't affect ANYTHING but the deck gun sound and can be used with all mod configurations without fear.

I want the Turbolaser sounds from the Star Destroyers in the Star Wars movies. But these are pretty good!

I was thinking about a "pew pew pew pew" sound for the 20mm..... I am one sick puppy.

Now I'm going to mix Star Wars gun sounds of all kinds to the deck gun, 20mm and 40mm guns and bundle them with my Slightly Subnuclear Deck Gun mod. Then I'll make a video of destroying the Convoy from Hell with a 40mm AA gun. Thats 29 armed merchies and three warships. They're tough because you have a dozen guns shooting at you and they are pretty dangerous.

Actually, that does seem kind of appropriate.

I have already done that in SH3 with my own super Nautilus mod. It's very funny ! :haha: :yeah:

Round one of Slightly Subnuclear Deck Gun (with Star Wars gun sounds) and after destroying 114,000 tons, all three warships and all but five merchies, those sharp-eyed @%$^^*#s (all the merchants are armed merchants) blew me out of the water. I went from decks awash to full surface to chase a fast liner. That's all they needed: a bigger target and I was toast.

I'm running a stock sub with the Slightly Subnuclear weapons, just to make it fair. I'll post my glorious death after mixing the commentary. I had 'em just where I wanted 'em and one hit in the wrong place........blub, blub, blub. That's life and death in the submarine biz.

Tired of the spitwad sound of the TMO deck gun? How about that RFB gun? Want to replace it with a recording of the real gun being fired from the deck of a real Fleet Boat of World War II? Forgeddaboudit! Load up these Star Wars Gun Sounds and make your submarine sound AWESOME!! Replaces the deck gun and all AA gun sounds with Star Wars equivalents. Do not use around pets and small children.

This a Certified Universal Plugin Mod. It does not have to be installed in port, but will begin working immediately whenever you install it. It is also certified compatible with all game configurations, changing NOTHING about gameplay, appearance, HUD, AI, or anything else but the gun sounds you want changed.

The Convoy from Hell is no pushover, 24 armed merchants plus three warships! And when we gave the submarine a slightly subnuclear deck gun, 20mm AA gun and 40mm AA gun, we also (in the interest of fairness:haha::haha::haha:) passed out subnuclear ammunition to every ship in our opposition!

We're using GFO, OTC, Slightly Subnuclear Weapons (now with BONUS Star Wars Weapon Sounds!!!!) and Rockin Robbins' Convoy from Hell.
