Something a little different. Not too cloudy.

I decided to look into SDR or software defined radio. Turn my laptop into a wide band radio receiver. So I bought a DTV dongle which with the right software can pick up frequencies from 24Mhz all the way up to 2.5Ghz.

I then made a couple of antennas, a crossed dipole and a quadrifilir helix antenna tuned to 137Mhz

My main interest weather satellites. The NOAA ones in polar orbit are the easiest to pick up and process.

So here is my best recording I have taken so far.

Well, great job! What exactly was your goal though? (No offense)
