LSH download issues
 

Ok, so I'm going through all the steps, and following the directions, but when it comes to the part where I have to pick a folder for the files to go, so I can then transfer them to JGME, I keep getting an error message to the effect of "unable to load file, spaces are not allowed in name". What am I doing wrong? GWX 3.0 dl'd fine.

What is your download source?

The link from the LSH website, the full install download, not the nine part one

Maybe it's because it's not the original install file? It says go to "computer" than "this PC", I don't have the latter. Just the "C" drive and the other usual ones

Should be an easy job of creating a new folder LSH3 on your computer's C drive or another drive if you have one.
This should allow you to download the 1 large file to this new folder.
Start the download.
Find the new folder LSH3.
Its a big file so the download time will depend on your broadband speed.

Ok, did that...now it says "No valid SH3.exe found in this folder"

Whenever I try to install I get the following message when I'm at the part to select where the downloaded files go
"You have selected this path:
C:\ProgramFiles (x86)\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\

SH3 must not be installed in this path!
Please install SH3 anywhere else!

Spaces are not allowed in file names or paths.

I got it all worked out, I was trying to use a star force dvd booo.
