I can see the orange-red smoke about 20 feet from my sub with the binoculars.
I can even see the pilot bobbing up and down through the binoculars.

Range 100 yards or less
All stop

Lifeguard Ring is not lit up.

Questions:
Does the Binoculars have to be centered on the aviator?
How close do you have to be to him?
What do I do next?

Have the binoculars on the aviator to have the red crosshairs, get close and slow and the rescue button should light up.
Click the button and you should see at the top "Survivor rescued"
