Just reinstalled the game and was wondering what some popular mods were.

Wolves of Steel seems to be the least painful way to apply a metric butt-ton of mods to SH5 to make it reasonably playable.
Be aware however that there are still caveats like you have to save and exit the game 200km before getting into port and when leaving port or otherwise you risk a crash to desktop particularly at any kind of time compression. In fact I get CTDs very frequently regardless. I've just ordered 16 GB of RAM to upgrade from 6GB to see if it makes any difference in crashes. I doubt it will but one can hope. |
