Melody Patterson, "Wrangler Jane" of "F Troop" Passes Away...
 

Melody Patterson, best known as "Wrangler Jane" on the "F Troop" comedy series passed away at age 66. She was a real beauty and, given her reported age at passing, would have been about 16 or 17 when she appeared on the show:

I always thought Capt. Parmenter was a damn, blind fool not to hook up with Wrangler Jane...

Both Wikipedia and the Internet Movie Database give her birth year as 1949, so apparently she was only 16 when the show started.

Well, if Wrangler Jane really was 16 or 17 then Capt. Parmenter was apparently an honorable man trying to avoid some serious legal trouble. :D
