There was something on the radio last week how the big-chain 9#p stores are able to undercut the more independant local 9#p shops, squeezing them out the market.

And you know what that means, when all the 96/97/98p stores are in the one grasp... everything will become 99p.

I'd prefer a round quid, don't want pocketful of pennies.

I've been wanting a 99p coin for a long time.

I got a £1 and 99p stores next to each other. :har:

Should I go for the £1 and no worries about all that 1p change in my pockets or go for the 99p store saving me 1p on next doors price. :hmmm: :haha:
