Airshow Budapest 2014 Highlights

Great video Jim, thanks for posting. Never saw a plane take off from a bridge before or a helicopter do a barrel roll at 1:22 and 1:55.
Is that a cobra helicopter at 0:55 and a Lancaster bomber at 2:59 ? Great flying skills. Real professionals. Like Butch Cassidy said to the Sundance Kid, " Who are those guys " ? :salute: |
@commander Wallace: i believe the plane on 2.59 is a B-25 Mitchell bomber and the chopper is indeed a Cobra.:salute:
|
Thanks Sturmer. I think you're right about the bomber. I don't know how I missed that one
Great flying though. |
no problem mate, its great to see those planes still flying arround. i only wished there where more german planes like a flyable stuka for example. that would be so cool to watch and hear.

Since then I have found that better engineered than the original replicas also exist for the Me-262 but outfitted with more reliable engines than the Jumo and BMW's of that time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kg9Cgnf_0Cs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8HblYdUUcg I wouldn't be surprised to see other replica's of Zero's, BF-109's or FW-190's , Mustangs or other iconic aircraft. You might be able to see them in flight if you look it up on the web either there or in person. |
yeah ive seen the me262 and it looks sweet
that started me wondering about that stuka, ive seen some footage that a guy rebuilded his plane to look like a stuka and ive found the footage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIRH9ar67nI its not perfect, but hey he gets a 10 for effort :D |
