Crash to desktop while loading first mission [GWX3, SH3C]

I am getting a crash to desktop when loading the first mission in my career.
First I start my career, choose 7th flotilla. Afterwards, I go in to crew, enlist 1 officer and 4 sailors, move my crew around. After that, I go in to UBOAT and buy the second hydrophone. After that I start my mission and right when it is done loading it c2d's. Does anyone have any advice? I tried running both SH3C and the SH3 exe's as administrator with xp3 compatibility.

Bump. Windows 8.1 Please help!

Fixed. Before installing GWX3 set sh3 to run as administrator and windows xp sp3 compat for single user and all users. Before installing GWX3 set the GWX3 installer the same way, then install. After that, do the same for the S3C installer and then install that. Then add the GWX3 config files to S3C.

I'm surprised no one came to my aid.

Update:

Apparently launching with S3C still crashes it. But running it without S3C does not.

What I've noticed different is that when I fresh install and then install GWX3, without S3C, there is 3 flotilla options. When I install S3C and use it, there is only 2, the stock options. I believe this is related to the reason why it crashes.

GWX and S3C are working together now. I have to start a career without using S3C first and then use S3C after. I am using the default "player" name. I don't know if it will crash if I change it.
