Hiding on bottom fix/mod ???
 

Hi

I have too many problems with SH5 CTD, so I've decided to go back to SH4.

I'm running 1.5 and looking to add no more mods than the minimum, so I'm looking at the super mod that just fixes the game I think it's in 1.1.

But upon reading the liner notes, I couldn't see anything about avoiding sonar by hiding on the bottom.

Does anyone know of a single mod/fix/patch that will address this issue?

Any contact with the bottom and you are going to sustain some sort of damage.

SH5 has come a long way over the past 6 months.

I can highly recommend TWOS if you have at least a 2gb gpu.

You can play TWOS at any level depending on your New Career setting and customizing your Game Play Settings.

There really is no such thing as hiding on the bottom from active sonar. You can stop making noise but you'll show up on active sonar just as well as if you were NOT on the bottom and you will take damage from bottoming the boat.

That is realistic and corresponds to real life. "Hiding on the bottom" is movie fairy tales.
