Just installed SH5 and started looking through all the mods and stuff. I want to mod this thing up but have no idea where to start. Am I missing a starter guide or am I just brainless?

Thx Myxale, the TDW’s Generic File Patcher info post was misleading me. So TDW is a patch manager then? It is likely included in WOS then.

TDW Patcher is a tool that helps you patch certain features ( included in WoS ) ;lets you enable or disable certain mechanics of the game. Things like enemy AI, weather, crew Map contacts and so on.

WoS comes with a pre-made patcher file, (activated with TDW Generic Patcher) that will enable all the features needed for the Mod.

Just follow the instructions. It's a bit scary the first time but the 'TGW Generic Patcher' is one of the best tools ever mad for SH5 :D
