Sea Color in TMO 2.5
Hello !! :)
Ive never used mods for SHIV before , so i thought why not try TMO , cuz it looked cool .. So i grabbed it ,, only problem is that i dont like the sea color .. :nope: :nope: is there any mod compatible with TMO 2.5 that can give a better color ?? (that one in stock SHIV UBM (1.5) was good IMO ) .. |
Hello Wolfie,
There's a discussion going on about this topic here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...53#post2327153 :) |

I use "improved stock environment 3" and "ISE realistic colors" with TMO.
And the result is great  http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/...psovib2lwe.jpg http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/...pszguym5l0.jpg |

Funny ... I get great colors and looks without running ISE.

I've been missing the sea air for far too long and have re-installed SHIV and have been getting reaquanted with JSMG again. I really like the TMO water textures in the download section. I've noticed that no matter what order I try this mod alongside Real Environment or any other graphics mod I can't get the TMO water to work with the others. They overwrite one another. How do I achieve the water look in the pictures posted here? Thanks for any assistance.

They are supposed to overwrite each other...ISE with Realistic colors works for me.

Actually any environmental mod added to TMO will definitely impact gameplay in some way not intended by Ducimus. If you don't care about really playing TMO then no problem. But if you want to play the game as tuned by Ducimus, actually playing TMO, then be very conservative about adding mods.
The one thing that pushed Ducimus to quit modding was people making bizarre recipes of mod soup, often over a dozen mods long, and then complaining to him about how TMO works. If you have layered mods on top of TMO you aren't playing TMO. Only exceptions are skins, sounds and missions. |
