Qingdao mission

I have tried this mission three times and failed very quickly every time.
Any advice on how to play this mission?

I've tried it half a dozen in the 688 and can accomplish the goals but can't sneak away. Can dodge a few torps but they just keep coming. About to change tactics and at the first shot at me go all out warfare on them.

cannot even get away from the coast get hit by a torpedoe and sunk.happens every time!
