Sitting on the bottom destroys my boat!

Is it possible to sit on the bottom and make repairs? Every time my boat jostles a bit it takes damage.

I settled to 131 meters, 0 speed, and touched down. Took some damage, but no flooding. Silent running, the escort slowly went away.

But the boat kept jostling on the bottom and eventually under TC it just sank itself.

I'm running the Wolves of Steel mod.

Is there a setting I have to adjust to be able to sit on the bottom and not take damage?

Only if you use TC no higher then 4... Everything else will destroy your sub, no other solution.

:D had that situation sitting on the bottom with a slightly damaged boat...used TC above 4 and ended up with a totally wrecked boat and a dead Benno!http://i58.tinypic.com/2q33gcm.jpg

Ah ha! It was the TC that killed me then!

Thanks.
