There are just some thing, who keeps on coming back

I'm a great lover of science especially Science about space and our atoms

I also love conspiracy about our great space and our earth.

Lets go back couple of years, some years before 2012 in more and more youtube video I saw many "prof" of a huge planet was on its way

The planet was called Niburu, etc up to the 21th of December 2012 there were hundreds if not thousand of videos.

About 1-2 month later....silence no more videos of this huge planet called Niburu.

Well that was until a few month ago, now I seem to see more and more videos about the same.

Shaking my head, there are just some thing who keeps on coming back.

They are funny to watch these videos.

Among skeptics this phenomenon of conspiracy theories constantly re-surfacing is called a fringe reset.

A fringe reset follows a general pattern. First, the defenders of some inane theory or the other, get completely humiliated and publicly spanked when some prediction or event they were pushing doesn't come true. After this embarrassment, they then skulk away to friendly places on the internet to either argue the same nonsense, or argue slightly different nonsense, or some echo chamber where they can completely control the discussion. After some period of time, they feel confident enough to again publicly argue and push the same thing or some new twist on the theme, pretending the past never happened and hoping everyone else will forget too.

It's sort of like the Winston Churchill quote---We occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of us pick ourselves up and hurry on as if nothing happened.

Reminds me of the title of a country and western song: "How Can I Say I Miss You If You Won't Go Away"...
