Which megamod do You prefer ?

There are Wolves of Steel, Thomsen, and few other big modifications. Which of them is the best in Your opinion ?
I want to start adventure with SH 5. Played a lot of SH3 +GWX.
Thanks for advices.

Most use WoS. Never heard of Thomsen mod?

Sjizzle's "Wolves of the Deep"

(because CSP Magui Interface is used instead of NewUIs_TDC)

Can't say what is the 'best' - but I picked Wolves of Steel because it is ONE download (ok 3, because patch and hot fix) and not having to download 200 files manually, which is painful without good mirrors (many are down, or often Subsim only which makes it impossible to download due to the limit etc.)

I would guess that sobers mod pack is the most 'detailed' one though.
Impressive collection.

I asked, because i saw Sober's mod list and i want something faster and simplier for install.
Big thanks to You for advices.

Thomsen mod was a similar collection of mods like sober's. Never updated enough since mods were changing a lot. Was in the bonus mods section for a while.

What did you do?
Did you install WoS?
Did you really exactly follow the necessary steps?
Cause it shouldn't crash then...

On the other hand, the more I play SH5, the more frustrated I get over so many bugs, glitches and inaccuracies.

I played 2 hours of Aces of the Deep last night.
It was glorious.

have played 'Wolves of Steel' and 'Wolves from the Deep' -- both are excellent. They are pretty different in terms of UI from one another, but similar in realism..

Honestly, I'd recommend trying both :) Wolves of Steel appears to be the more popular one, based only on number of posts.. I think it's also older.

the 'wolves from the deep' ui is extremely cool and retro -- a lot of fun.
