Trying to start a new campaign, I don't know what to do.
 

So I got out of bed, went and talked to the captain.

Ship was spotted. Captain said go to battle stations, so I did.

Went below decks, and the observation periscope was blinking. So I used it, and put 2 torpedoes in the nearby ship and sank it.

Now what?

I try to talk to people, no one wants to talk.

None of the nav menus or any of the usual menus are active, I guess because the captain is in charge?

You have to kill a total of 4 ships IIRC.

You can navigate with the navigation map (either go to the map table in the U-Boats Control Room, or press "M".
Then Left-Click on your ship and Right-Click on the location where you want your ship want to go. You should also find the location of the other ships on the map.

Afterwards you have to set course to Kiel (you are getting told when it is the time to do so)
