Radio man constant chatter

When I am surrounded by warships, which is often, my radio man will not shut up. He is constantly reporting new contact bearings.

After about 1 minute of this he becomes a nuisance. Is there a way to stop his constant chatter? They're above us, circling, and they have our number. I get it! Shut up already!
