diesel not working
 

I have a problem with one diesel engine. I was hunting one cargo ship with VIIB in '39 and then when I surfaced after 15min being submerged my right propeller is not working. it is untact and I have enough crew but it just desen't work. any suggestions

Are you sure it's not just loading the electrical engines after the dive?

That is to charge your batteries. It will be online again after a while. Or you ask your LI to stop charging it.

that happened to me too. I felt a fleeting moment of panic when I surfaced, and the right prop was not turning. Then I remembered that the recharge command is automatically carried out whenever there is less than 100% charge. I was hugely relieved...

No diesel working!
 

I had a similar problem. I surfaced to conduct an attack on a merchant I was tracking and no diesels were working. I was DIW. The diesel compartment was fully manned. Finally dove and pursued on electric engines. Came back up and the diesels were fine!

P.S. I did catch the merchant and sent him to the bottom.
