1914 Shells of Fury graphics bug
 

I know that this game is old and neglected, but I still decided to give it a try.
Yet the daylight looks pitch-black to me for some reason. See attached screenshot. It is 11.15 in the morning there.
Did anyone encountered the same glitch? Is there a solution?

That is likely a graphic bug, probably something to do with the game being old and the new graphic card controllers not working well with it. Nvidia is notorious for causing trouble with older games, are you using an Nvidia card by chance?

That looks like the old U-Boot Kurs West Weather bug. Do you have that mod intalled by any chance?

Yes, I do have Kurs West installed. Should I remove it completely, or is it possible to make some corrections?
I have ATI videocard.

The issue is in the weather.txt file. U-Boot Kurs West alters this file to allow for new weather effects. The problem is that the extensions for these files do not match what is in the directories. Anything with the .DDS extension must be changed back to the .TGA extension. Since the modded game cannot find these renamed texture files, all you get is a blank screen.

i have change dds to tga. but still another problem: when it's cloud and rain all ok. day and night are ok. when it s not cloud, night it's same that day. i don t why. night its daylight.
