return from my first patrol,

I've just finished my first patrol. I,m a little bit disapointed. I've sunk five ships, no renown points ! now i have two questions.

1- crew fatigue, how long to restore a crew to operational status ? My torpedo crews are always tired. I try to give them full 8 hours rest, but no gain in endurance.

2- i have some problems with some of my saves, they have a bad habit to crash my game. is this a common problem ?

Hi there Scarredclown:)

Here are few tips ;-)

* When have buyed all the crew you need . Just (without bying anything)
go out for only 24 hours , when you finished doing that , and you head home , stop exactly 12km from your home harbour . Then you can reward your crew with medals , aand stuff :)

When you have to save the game do this :

NOT SAVE THE GAME UNDERWATER .
NOT NEAR SHIPS .
NOT NEAR LAND . when you do this ,, you're good to go .

Now : GO SINK THEM ALL , AND BE AGRESSIVE :arrgh!: :arrgh!:

good luck .

Save game solutions, best to worst:

1.
Ticking read-only attributes off, turning Windows indexing off, and using the 4GB patch might solve all your saving problems:

2.
If not, then no saving near other ships or submerged, or near coast, as StarLion45 said.

3.
If that doesn't help, no saving while at sea. Leave the computer running when you leave the game, or if you have a laptop, use hibernation.
