Gates does it again!

Gates has once again claimed top spot as the man with all the shekel's. A whopping $79.2 billion. Sorry, I just cannot get my head around that staggering amount.

Forbes tallied 1,826 billionaires across the globe for their 2015 list of which 7 were South African. Our top guy came in at $7.4 billion - far cry from Gates. Gates has also been described as the most generous philanthropist of all time.

Think I will put him on my xmas card list:D

Royalty and dictators are excluded - sorry Mugabe:haha:

$79,200,000,000:smug: I just couldn't get my wallet around that!:D Also in the top five are Warren Buffet# 3 (72.7 Billion) and Oracle's Ellison #5 (52.3) @ on the list are 2 Wal-Mart Waltons. Weird to say: one way or another I've contributed to their wealth at some point. Using the computer(Windows); minor investments or actually guarding an Oracle Employee Appreciation event...I wish someone would contribute to mine...other than Social Security!

Don't forget Mr Apple (I know I know it's a corporation) making 75 Billion dollars profit in one year (last year).

Isn't profit worth more than net worth?

Point taken...but is not that profit shared among share holders?

I had to check it out and the $75 billion dollars was just Apple's revenue for one quarter (the last quarter of 2014)(which they call the quarter of 2015 for some reason) http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2015...r-Results.html

They had 18 billion dollars profit from that income.

If Gates cashed in everything he would have $79 billion dollars to pay taxes on and disperse to all of the waiting hands out for their slice too.

So what your worth may not always be what you get ...

Hey! That sounds like a song :woot:
